Krishna Krishna Everywhere

I was recently away on a cruise to Norway. Our first day on the ship was a day at sea as we sailed across the North Sea to our first destination.

As we sailed across the ocean I sat in my deck chair on the balcony chanting the Maha Mantra looking out at sea. My thought was, "Wow, look how vast the sea is. Look how big the ocean is. I am so small in comparison. I would perish if I fell in. I would be so cold. Would someone spot me and try to save me? I would be so insignificant by comparison in the sea. I would freeze, the ocean would be so cold."

I continued to chant.

Then a second thought came into my mind. Krishna is within everything, so every water droplet contains Krishna, and the entire ocean is Krishna. So Krishna is both the water droplet and the entire sea at the same time - wild. So if I fell into the sea I would be surrounded by Krishna and I would be within Krishna at the same time - wild. Then I thought, would Krishna help me if I fell into the ocean? I wonder if I would be okay if that were to happen.

Like the vastness of the ocean is awe frightening, the ocean inspired me to be in awe of Krishna's magnificence. Just like I cannot fathom the greatness of the ocean, I am unable to fathom the greatness of any God.
